Beware ...

IF there is a PLUS for using Dixie Caverns as an RV stop, it MAY be that it is close to Roanoke and easy to access from the highway. Otherwise, comparing it to other RV campgrounds, the spaces are VERY tight, usually poorly maintained, the bathroom/shower area is often dirty or in bad repair and the grounds are noisy from highway noise. In that it is about the only place near Roanoke, we've had to stay there a few times and were apprehensive on each for the ruts in the road or the trees we needed to avoid just to find room to sit the rig or open the slides. At the rate they charge, you should expect more ... but then again, as the only place nearby, perhaps they don't even care what RV'er think!

Bad Place

Very bad place. I did not even stay. When I got there the management was so rude and nasty. I asked to speak to the owner and they took down my name and number. I gave it to them and left and no one called me back. I would not stay at this rv park if it was free now. Stay at your own risk.
