The house is almost 1700-square feet with a nice big kitchen and two full bathrooms, newly renovated with high quality fixtures, an eye for detail, and many loving custom touches. We love the look and feel of real wood, so we have utilized its aesthetic appeal throughout the home wherever possible. The house is indeed in move-in condition though there are more improvements that could be made. The utility area, for example (washer/dryer, water heater, gas furnace), which we used as our work area for the ongoing renovations, has not been renovated, but with a little work this area can also be made nice. Almost every window has been replaced, as well as the exterior doors.
There are four rooms upstairs off of a long hallway, plus a nice, big, full bathroom. One room we use as a living area, another as an art/music studio, one as a yoga room, and the last as our bedroom, though all four could be used as bedrooms. The rear entrance opens into a sizable foyer, about 143 square feet, which we have been calling the reading nook on one side and the entry area on the other. The large dine-in kitchen (210 square feet) is off of this room and is a pleasure to use for all who spend a good deal of time cooking and eating. This kitchen is really nice, and in this price-range makes this home very attractive indeed. There is a room off the kitchen, of about 153 square feet, which could be used as a den, TV room, or children's playroom, with the utility room off of that and a full bathroom. So this house could be considered 3-4 bedrooms depending how on how you choose to utilize the spaces.
We have focused our attention on the interior of the home so the yard and plantings have not taken precedence, but have great potential for beautification. The backyard is a nice size and is suitable for children and/or dogs. The front yard is smaller but nice in that it has several trees, which shade the place and offer some privacy. Another plus of this property is that there are no houses directly across the street, where there is extra parking as well.
